Tag, I'm It

I got tagged by Warren Whitlock at http://twitterhandbook.com/blog/is-twitter-all-just-fun-and-games/ to continue the spinning wheel of random fact-sharing called Blog Tag!

According to the rules, I must post the rules, which are pretty simple:

. Link to your original tagger.
. List these rules on your blog.
. Share 7 facts about yourself in the post, some random, some weird.
. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names and the links to their blogs.
. Let them know they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogs and/or Twitter.

Random and Weird Stuff about Elli:

1. I never remember how to spell "weird" (and many other words) without the intervention and/or assurance of spell check.
2. At 70 (last year), I self-released my first jazz-vocal CD and started what is now becoming an international career launch, with my 2nd CD to be self-released this year (http://www.ellifordyce.com/bio.html, first having sung jazz in publical in 1955 on Cape Cod.
3. I recently joined http://www.twitter.com/ellifordyce , in the past month have become completely hooked and, being equally hooked on The West Wing, spent several hours today "tweeting" to others who came up in a search.
4. I was very close friends with Bobby Darin in '52-'54, meeting him at Bronx H.S. of Science (details, except for the few personal ones I held back, at http://darinland.com/Elli-Fordyce-Interview.html).
5. My 5-lb. Teacup Yorkie (I call her a "coffee mug"), Minty, who reincarnated from my earlier 12-lb. huge Yorkie, Dindi -- pronounced Gingie, named after the Antonio Carlos Jobim Bossa Nova, insists on being picked up whenever I practice, sing, perform or work on the CD, considering it her job to help.
6. Having been secretary/word processor/typesetter since 1967 and a "pen-pal" since age 8, I adore email, tweeting and posting.
7. I've been into spiritual practices for 43 years and show no signs of stopping; you may join my Yahoo Group NYLOAwork-subscribe@yahoogroups.com if curious (no obligation, promise).
